Day Two: A Bumpy Ride but Progress Made π
Hey, readers! π΅
Day two of my Salesforce AI Specialist Certification preparation is behind me, and while it didn’t go quite as planned, it was still productive. Real life (and a hectic day at my main project) slowed things down, but hey, every step counts, right?
What I Achieved Today
Superbadge Prompt Builder Templates – Unlocked and Completed!
- After waiting 24 hours for Salesforce Support to reply about enabling my org for the superbadge (no luck there), I decided to try submitting another request. This time, it worked almost instantly! Lesson learned: when in doubt, try again.
- I completed the Prompt Builder Templates Superbadge with only one mistake in the "Program Recommendation Email" prompt template. Instead of using
{!$Input:Sender.Name}
, I mistakenly went with{!$Input:Sender.FirstName}
. Classic attention-to-detail slip, but I caught it quickly.
Einstein Copilot Trail Progress:
- I worked on the Set Up and Use Einstein Copilot as a Conversational AI Assistant trail. While I completed most of it, the final project - Connect Data Cloud to Copilot and Prompt Builder - will have to wait until tomorrow.
Time Spent:
Today’s prep took about 3 hours, mainly due to troubleshooting the org and working through the superbadge and trail.
Lessons Learned Today
- Persistence Pays Off: If your Salesforce hands-on org setup isn't working, don’t just wait - try submitting another request.
- Details Matter: When working with prompt templates, pay close attention to the syntax. Small mistakes like
{!$Input:Sender.FirstName}
vs.{!$Input:Sender.Name}
can trip you up. - Flexibility is Key: Some days, your primary job will take center stage, and that’s okay. Progress, no matter how small, still moves you closer to your goal.
What’s Next?
Tomorrow, I plan to:
- Finish the Einstein Copilot trail, focusing on connecting the Data Cloud.
- Explore more AI-specific use cases and dive deeper into the exam guide to strengthen weak areas.
Trailblazer Takeaway
The journey isn’t always smooth, but it’s the tough days that remind you why you’re pushing forward. Have you faced any challenges while prepping for Salesforce certifications? Share your tips - I’d love to hear them!
